About us

In a few words: what we do

AMA, which means ‘love’ in Italian, is a non-governmental organization that assists poor and disadvantaged children in West Africa. We work directly with partner schools, without an intermediary, to provide school supplies to children at the start of each academic year. In December, we also give our schools a Christmas trees and educational gifts. Our activities are direct and respond to the concrete needs identified by the administrators of our schools. In the long run, our aim is to increase the number of partner schools and the scope of our support (school supplies, equipment, knowledge…), and, at the same time, maintain our primary objective: to work directly with local schools and teachers.

« Welcome to the website of AMA, a non-governmental organization. Helping and supporting a child is to build and ensure his or her future. Our activities focus on rural areas in South-West Cameroun where we have partnerships with local schools. Our donors, patrons, sponsors and godparents support us with donations.  Should you wish to take action and join us in this beautiful and rich human adventure, please do not hesitate to contact us.
